Three of Mara’s poems are featured in Nimrod International Journal’s 43rd Annual Literary Awards Issue. This issue presents the best work submitted to the 43rd Nimrod Literary Awards; Mara was named a finalist for the Pablo Neruda Prize for her poems “field work/ Cass County Minnesota 1938”, “an episode in archaeology/ a scar”, and “Jump”.

Award-winning Eyewear Press (London, UK) has selected Adamitz Scrupe’s manuscript entitled “Magnalia” as a winner in its Lorgnette Series Chapbook Competition. The published book will comprise around 35 pages of new poems addressing the interplay between human societies, the natural environment, and spirituality. Magnalia will be released in November 2017.
