Blog / July 10, 2017 Award-winning Eyewear Press (London, UK) has selected Adamitz Scrupe’s manuscript entitled “Magnalia” as a winner in its Lorgnette Series Chapbook Competition. The published book will comprise around 35 pages of new poems addressing the interplay between human societies, the natural environment, and spirituality. Magnalia will be released in November 2017. Blog / February 1, 2017 Mara Adamitz Scrupe’s poem “Jesus by July” has been short listed in the Ron Pretty Poetry Prize competition. The short list comprises five poems, three place getters and two runners up. The short list was announced on the Five Islands Press website on Tuesday 31 January 2017. The winning, second and third placed poems will be announced at the prize ceremony at Collected Works Bookshop in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday, 3 March 2017. Read more
