Mara Adamitz Scrupe's poem “Jesus by July” has been short listed in the Ron Pretty Poetry Prize competition. The short list comprises five poems, three place getters and two runners up. The short list was announced on the Five Islands Press website on Tuesday 31 January 2017. The winning, second and third placed poems will be announced at the prize ceremony at Collected Works Bookshop in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday, 3 March 2017.
