Labor
Labor, a temporary site work commissioned for the Neuberger Museum of Art Biennial of Outdoor Public
Art, consists of a clear acrylic lectern with podium containing a solar-powered LED panel featuring the artist’s
poetry written in response to the 17th century agrarian history of the surrounding landscape. The site chosen
for the installation is a very private wooded copse partially surrounded by a colonial-era stone fence
built to contain and demarcate historic farm fields.
